Tastier Tuna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. mayonnaise
3 c. canned white albacore tuna, drained and flaked
1/4 c. lightly toasted pecans, chopped
1/4 c. chopped celery
salt and white pepper to taste
1/4 c. water chestnuts, coarsely chopped
1 small onion, chopped fine
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, tuna, pecans, celery, onion, pepper and water chestnuts, mixing well to evenly distribute and coat with mayonnaise.
Adjust seasonings to taste. If salad is dry, add a bit more mayonnaise.
Serve as a sandwich filling or as a salad on a bed of lettuce.
Yields 8 servings.
