Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 inch thick slice of beef
celery
carrots
onions
green peppers
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce or tomato soup
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Pound flour into slice of beef.
May cut beef into cubes, if desired.
Brown beef; add salt after browned.
Add vegetables. Pour tomato sauce or soup over all.
Cover pan.
Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Stir occasionally.
