Carefree Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken
    1/2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    Combine peas and carrots, soup, water and milk in a medium sized saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer 3 minutes. Spoon half of the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Spoon the cooked rice over the vegetable mixture.
    Layer the chicken over the rice and top with remaining vegetable mixture.
    Sprinkle top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
