Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. rhubarb
1/2 c. or more sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Mix first 9 ingredients and put in 12 x 13-inch pan (approximately).
Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and nuts over it. Bake at 350\u00b0.
Needs no frosting.
