Moo Goo Gai Pan(Chicken With Mushrooms And Pea Pods) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts, boned, skinned and cut bite size
    1/2 c. white wine or vermouth
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 scallions or green onion, sliced
    1 c. celery, cut bite size
    1 pkg. frozen pea pods
    4 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in cold water
    slivered almonds (for garnish)
Preparation
    Marinate chicken in wine while you are cutting the vegetables. Using a wok or large skillet, \"stir-fry\" onion, celery, pea pods, mushrooms and water chestnuts in the oil.
    Stir constantly.
    This will only take a couple of minutes.
    Vegetable are done when they reach a bright color and are still crisp.
    Remove from wok or skillet to an additional bowl.
