Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large Hershey bar or 10 small bars
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cram the butter and add sugar and egg yolk.
Mix well.
Add flour and vanilla.
Spread in a 10 x 14-inch ungreased shallow pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Place the candy bar which has been broken into small pieces on top of this and spread as it melts.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Cut while warm.
Makes 3 dozen bars.
