Citrus Sherbet Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large grapefruit, peeled and sectioned (save juice)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored Jell-O
    1/2 pt. (1 c.) lime sherbet
    2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Peel and section grapefruit.
    Reserve juices.
    Set aside. Add enough water to reserved juice to make 1 1/4 cups.
    Add gelatin.
    Cook and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
    Stir in sherbet.
    Chill until partially set.
    Fold in grapefruit sections and pecans.
    Turn into 3-cup ring mold.
    Chill until firmly set.
