1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts (pecans)
1/4 c. light corn syrup
4 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar, finely packed
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Blend together the flour and pecans. Combine the corn syrup, butter and sugar in a saucepan over moderate heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove the pan from heat.
Gradually add the flour and nut mixture to the hot mixture.
Cool slightly.
