Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. meat drippings
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 c. self-rising white corn meal
Preparation
    Melt drippings in 10-inch iron skillet in hot oven (425\u00b0). Add milk, egg and drippings to corn meal.
    Stir until well blended.
    Pour into hot, prepared skillet.
    Bake in preheated oven at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
