One Dish Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 onion, peeled and diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 large raw potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
    1 large carrot, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
    1 c. cut corn
    1 c. precooked rice or 8 oz. fine egg noodles, uncooked
    water to cover
Preparation
    Brown the hamburger in a skillet until it loses its reddish color.
    Add the onion and continue to cook until onion is glazed and transparent.
    Add the salt and pepper.
