Texas Barbecue(Fow Slow Cooker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 drops pepper sauce (optional)
    1/2 c. water (if cooking in oven)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and pour over 2 1/2 to 3 pound roast in slow cooker.
    Cook 8 to 10 hours on medium or low heat, until meat is tender.
    Remove meat and allow to cool.
    Slice thin, across the grain.
    Skim off fat from sauce.
    Heat sauce.
    Mix 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water.
    Stir into sauce and stir until thickened.
    Return meat to sauce.
    Heat through, about 30 minutes. Serve on split hard rolls, hamburger rolls or sandwich rolls. Makes enough for a small crowd.
