Easy Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    butter size of an egg
    1 egg
    1/2 cake yeast or 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in scalded milk.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add egg, salt and sugar and dissolve yeast in milk.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Let rise for 1 hour in warm place.
    Punch down and let rise again.
    Put into 2 (8 or 9-inch) cake pans.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
    Let rise until doubled and bake 20 minutes in moderate oven at 375\u00b0.
