Pear Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 Bartlett pears or enough to make 2 c. grated pears
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oil
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2/3 c. chopped nuts
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Coarsely grate pears to make 2 cups.
Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
Add oil, sugar, lemon peel, vanilla and grated pears.
Mix thoroughly.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to pear mixture, mixing until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into 3 medium greased loaf pans.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes until done.
