Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1 can tomato soup
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Scrape, wash and slice carrots.
    Cook until tender (do not overcook).
    Drain well.
    Chop onion and green pepper (coarsely). In a large bowl, add onion, green pepper and cooked carrots.
    Mix together:
    tomato soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
    Pour the tomato soup mixture over carrots, etc.
    Cover tightly and chill several hours or overnight.
    Great for outings!
