Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients and add to creamy mixture.
    Chill dough 1 hour.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls the size of English walnuts.
    Roll balls into mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
