Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. thin sliced squash
    2 c. thin sliced onion
    1 Tbsp. canning salt
    1 c. cut bell pepper
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine squash, onion
    and
    salt.
    Let
    stand
    1
    hour. Combine vinegar, sugar, pepper, mustard and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Add squash
    and onion.
    Bring to a good boil.
    Pack into hot jars and seal.
