Bacon Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. packaged herb-seasoned stuffing
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 lb. hot or mild sausage
    1/2 to 2/3 lb. sliced bacon
Preparation
    Melt butter in water.
    Remove from heat; stir into stuffing. Add egg and sausage.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Chill 1 hour, then shape into small balls.
    Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise; wrap one piece around dressing mixture and fasten with toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp, turning at 1/2 point.
    Drain on paper towel. Serve hot.
    May be made ahead of time.
