Garden Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. finely chopped carrots
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. uncooked rice
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
    4 2/3 c. chicken broth
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery, garlic and carrots in butter in a Dutch oven. Add broth and other ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat 45 minutes.
    Serves 12.
