Jalapeno Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup cornmeal
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp. Salt
    1/2 tsp soda
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/2 cup oil
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 cup cream style corn
    1 medium onion, chopped
    Diced jalapeno peppers (2 is plenty hot)
    1/4 lb. Grated cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease 8 inch pan.
    In mixing bowl combine dry ingredients.
    Stir in corn, onion, peppers and cheese. Combine oil, eggs and buttermilk.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Stir only until moistened.
    Turn into pan.
    Bake until lightly brown. Let set
    5 - 10 minutes before cutting.
