Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large sweet potatoes
3 eggs
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. flavoring or 1/2 jigger rum
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes in hot water until done.
Mash with potato masher.
Pick out strings if in potatoes.
Add butter while potatoes are still hot.
Add sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add eggs and beat well.
Use about 1/2 cup milk to thin mixture.
Pour into prepared 9-inch pie crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Turn heat down to 350\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes longer.
When pie is done, dust with powdered sugar.
