1/2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
