Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1 pkg. Chili-O mix
1/2 c. water
1 can chili beans with sauce (Joan of Arc brand)
1 (16 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, mashed
1 (8 oz.) can V-8 juice
salt and pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
1 medium onion, chopped and 1 medium green pepper, chopped (optional)
Preparation

In a nonstick pan over high heat, brown turkey meat.
Onion and green pepper may be added at this time, if desired. Add V-8 juice, Chili-O mix and water, stirring well. Reduce heat and add the tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir well and cook 10 minutes on low heat, covered. Add chili beans and cook another 10 minutes. Serve alone or over noodles.
