Cheddar Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 c. pared apple slices (1/4-inch thick)
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine butter, brown sugar, half cup flour and cheese and set aside.
    Gently combine remaining ingredients; heap into an unbaked pastry shell.
    Sprinkle with topping.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm or cooled.
