Chili Sauce (Aunt Frances) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 tomatoes, skinned
    2 1/2 peppers
    5 onions
    2 Tbsp. salt
    12 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground pepper (optional)
    2 c. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Cut vegetables coarse.
    Mix in large pan.
    Cook until very thick on a low heat.
    Taste for spice balance.
    Stir often.
    Seal in tight jars.
