Pink And Pretty Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    approximately 1 lb. can crushed pineapple (can be more or less)
    1 pt. sour cream of substitute sour cream *
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sliced maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add pineapple.
    Chill to unbeaten egg white consistency.
    Stir in sour cream, nuts and cherries.
    Pour into 9-inch square pan.
    Chill to firm.
    Cut in squares.
    Serves 8.
