Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (1 1/2 inches thick)
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    3 medium green peppers, seeded and thinly sliced
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Slice steak into 1/8-inch thick slices.
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Sprinkle meat with garlic salt and add to oil.
    Cook rapidly for 1 minute or until lightly brown.
    Remove meat from skillet and add peppers and onions to oil.
    Cook 2 minutes, stirring often.
    Add soy sauce, tomato sauce and sugar.
    Simmer 3 to 5 minutes and return meat to skillet.
    Cook until meat is heated.
    Serve over rice.
