Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine gelatin with boiling water and dissolve thoroughly. Fold strawberries, pineapple and bananas in juice. Put half of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan and freeze for 1 to 1 1/2 hours (until firm).
    Keep other half warm on sink. Remove first half from freezer and spread sour cream over top of mixture and then gently spoon on the second half of mixture.
    Freeze or refrigerate and serve icy cold.
    Serves 18.
