Tom'S Favorite Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    2 sq. baking chocolate
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put sugar, milk, chocolate and syrup in a saucepan.
    Bring to the boiling point and let boil until mixture will form a soft ball when tried in cold water.
    Remove from fire.
    Add butter, letting it form a film over the fudge.
    Cool.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until candy loses its glossiness.
    Knead on bread board; shape into 2 long rolls.
    Cut in 1/4-inch slices when cool.
