Boiled Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts, floured
3 c. sifted flour
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
2 tsp. soda that has been dissolved in little warm water
2 c. milk

Preparation

Cream together sugar, butter, eggs, the spices, raisins and milk.
Mix well; let come to boil.
Cool, then add the soda.
Add the flour, nuts, pineapple and cherries.
Bake 1 hour in a tube pan at 350\u00b0.
