Pound Cake I - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Gradually add and blend in flour.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour into a greased and lightly floured tube pan.
    Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
