Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 medium green tomatoes
    salt
    pepper
    about 1/2 c. oil
    corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 to 2 c. milk
Preparation
    Wash tomatoes, slice crosswise into medium thickness. Beat eggs; add milk and mix well.
    Add enough salt and pepper to meal to your taste.
    Dip tomato slices into egg bath, then shake in corn meal mixture.
    Place slices in heated oil, single layer, turning until good and brown.
