Mexican Skillet Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pork sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium green peppers, chopped
2 c. shell macaroni
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes
24 oz. tomato sauce
1 lb. sour cream
Parmesan cheese
Preparation
-
Brown sausage, onion and green pepper; drain.
Chop tomatoes in food processor.
Add along with tomato sauce, seasonings and shell macaroni.
Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring more frequently toward end of cooking.
Stir in sour cream.
Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Excellent with garlic bread.
