Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    In double boiler, melt caramels and evaporated milk.
    In large bowl, mix cake, nuts, melted butter and evaporated milk.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Place 1/2 of cake mixture in pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle chips on top.
    Pour caramel mixture on top.
    Sprinkle rest of cake mixture on top.
    Bake 15 to 18 minutes.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting.
