Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

2 lb. hamburger
1 large can tomato sauce
1 pt. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 lb. mild Cheddar cheese
1 onion
Preparation

Cook hamburger and drain. Add tomato sauce and let simmer. Cook noodles. Dice onion and add to sour cream. Grate cheese. Use 9 x 13-inch pan and layer as follows: 1/2 noodles, 1/2 hamburger, 1/2 sour cream and onions and 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers. (Use more cheese on last layer.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cover and cook 15 more minutes, making sure cheese doesn't get too brown.
