German Potato Salad Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, rendered
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together cornstarch, water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Cook several minutes.
    Add to bacon and simmer until glossy.
    Add water if necessary to make enough.
    Can be cooked in microwave.
    Enough for 3 to 4 pounds of salad potatoes, sliced.
