Ingredients

3 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in medium size saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring often to prevent sticking.
When cooked, add butter.
Cool and pour in dish or pie shell.
