Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    salt (optional)
    1/2 can chili powder
    2 cans dark red kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown ground beef on medium heat, drain and add tomatoes with liquid, chili powder and salt.
    Stir well and cook on medium heat until it starts to bubble.
    Then turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Then add beans with liquid and bread crumbs; mix well.
    Simmer another 15 minutes.
    Chili should have thickened.
    Serve with crackers or chunks of Cheddar cheese.
