Icebox Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 can condensed pineapple (large)
    1 lb. marshmallows
    3 large bananas
    1 lb. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Drain juice from pineapple; do not drain juice completely dry.
    Add pineapple, diced or miniature marshmallows and diced bananas; mix all ingredients well.
    Line sheet pan with vanilla wafers.
    Pour in mixture.
    Crumble remaining wafers and spread on top.
    Serve with or without whipped cream.
