Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    2 large carrots, sliced
    2 potatoes, diced (optional)
    1 large onion, chopped or 2 Tbsp. dried minced onions
    1 c. peas, frozen
    1 c. green beans, frozen
    3 c. hot water with 3 bouillon cubes (chicken or beef)
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed or chopped tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. red wine
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Use heavy roaster or Dutch oven with tight-fitting lid.
    Layer ingredients as listed.
    Do not stir.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 6 to 7 hours.
