Lemon-Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 1/2 lb. fryer
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
    1/4 c. oil (for frying)
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cut fryer in quarters.
    Combine lemon juice, oil and seasoning to make marinade.
    Pour over chicken. Be sure all chicken parts are in contact with marinade.
    Marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator. Drain chicken. Dust with flour. Heat oil in heavy skillet.
    Place chicken in hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes or until tender. Makes 4 servings.
