Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried apricots
    1/2 c. water
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. orange juice
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Soak dried chopped apricots in water at least 1 hour.
    Drain and reserve 1/4 cup liquid.
    Cream margarine and sugar; add egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange juice and reserved water.
    Stir in apricots and nuts.
    Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan or 2 small pans at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
    Let cool before slicing.
    This freezes well.
    If not enough water leftover from apricots, add water to get desired amount.
