Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large stalk broccoli
1/2 head cauliflower
1 medium onion, diced
1 carrot, shredded
1 lb. crisp bacon
1 c. Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

In separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar; stand aside.
Fry bacon until crisp; lay on paper towel to cool.
Break cauliflower and broccoli in bite-size pieces into salad bowl; add diced onion, shredded carrot and shredded cheese. Crumble bacon over top.
Pour mayonnaise dressing over top; toss and refrigerate 1 hour.
Mix or toss before serving.
Serves 6 to 8.
