Christmas Wassail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. clover honey
4 c. orange juice
4 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks
2 Tbsp. whole allspice
1/4 Tbsp. grated nutmeg
1 gal. cider
2 lemons
2 Tbsp. cloves
Preparation

Place spices in cheesecloth.
Bring liquid to boiling point. Simmer together for 20 minutes.
Remove bag and store, covered, for reuse.
Taste and simmer longer if desired. Serve with cinnamon stick in front of a roaring fire!
