Joan'S Mostaccioli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round or ground sirloin
    1 medium onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. parsley
    2 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce (large)
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste (large)
    2 cans water (use tomato paste can for measure)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    In large, heavy stock pan, heat oil and brown meat.
    Drain off fat.
    Add all ingredients and bring to a boil slowly.
    Simmer for at least 1 1/2 hours.
    It's much better the day after and freezes well.
    Keeps in the fridge for at least one week.
    Cook mostaccioli as directed on the box.
