Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
pinch of salt
extra sugar for garnish

Preparation

Cream
the oleo until fluffy.
Combine egg and vanilla. Stir well
into\toleo.
Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to first
mixture.
Preheat
oven
to\t300\u00b0. Spray cookie sheets with
nonstick vegetable spray.
Place a tablespoon of dough several
inches
apart
on\tcookie\tsheet.\tBake
for 15 minutes. Remove
immediately
from
pan (they harden and will break apart). Sprinkle with sugar.
