Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. American Velveeta cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, diced
Preparation
    Can use corn flakes or croutons as a topping, but not necessary.
