Mexican Fideos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
10 oz. spaghetti or vermicelli
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and cut up
3/4 c. water
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
Preparation

In large skillet, heat oil.
Add spaghetti, onion and garlic. Cook and stir until spaghetti is browned.
Stir in tomatoes, water, chilies, salt and cumin.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer covered until liquid is absorbed and spaghetti is tender, about 10 minutes.
Serve immediately.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
