Carrot Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. sharp cheese
    1 c. bread crumbs
    paprika (optional)
Preparation
    Cook and mash carrots.
    Beat eggs and mix together with milk, salt, butter and sugar.
    Grate cheese and add to the other ingredients, including the bread crumbs.
    Place mixture in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake for about 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Serves 8 to 10.
