Mexican Mocha Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened margarine
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. cocoa powder
    1 tsp. instant coffee crystals
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts
    extra fine granulated sugar or powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream the first 3 ingredients. Stir together flour, cocoa, coffee and salt. Gradually beat dry mix into creamed mix. Stir in nuts and cherries. Chill 1 hour. Bake on ungreased sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. While warm, dust with fine sugar. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
