Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 12 cucumbers, sliced thin
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 medium onion (to each jar), sliced
Preparation
    Pack jars with cucumbers.
    Mix all other ingredients and heat until sugar is melted.
    Pour over cucumbers and store in jars in refrigerator.
